19th edition of the EURegions Week
Begins 11/10/2021
Ends 14/10/2021
The LIFE IP AZORES NATURA project announces the 19th edition of the EURegions Week, the largest annual event in Brussels dedicated to cohesion policy. Between 11 and 14 October, you will have the opportunity to participate in several online workshops with themes related to biodiversity, forests, green transition and many others, with about 300 planned sessions.
This event is included in LIFE IP AZORES NATURA’s complementary funds, being that one of the main goals, and that characterizes the integrated projects (IP), is the necessity to mobilize funds other than LIFE (whether from the European Union, national, regional or private), to finance complementary measures or actions to the project, outside of its own, such as Horizon Europe, Interreg MAC, among others.

The Horizon Europe Info Days is running from June 28th to July 9th.

During these info days, available in replay on the HE info days website and on YouTube, the six (6) clusters of the Pillar II are presented.

In addition to Pillar II, we want to highlight the Widening Programme also known as Pillar Four. This pillar offers many opportunities to the Outermost Regions which are eligible for the Widening programme.

The Widening programme will be presented on Friday, July 9th between 9:30 to 18:00 (CEST) with the European Research Area programme. One can cite interesting calls with among others the Twinning, Excellence Hub, and ERA Chair programme.

The ERA Fellowships (HORIZON-WIDERA-2022-TALENTS-02-01) should also be studied, it is a Training and Mobility Actions that allows attracting excellent post-doctoral candidates to widening countries.

The ERA Fellowship is linked to the calls HORIZON-MSCA-2021-PF-01 (opening 22 Jun 2021 and closing 12 Oct 2021).

The application to the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Postdoctoral Fellowships 2021 from a widening country will be automatically resubmitted to ERA Fellowships in case the proposal fails to reach an adequate place in the ranking to be funded.

For more information, you can learn more about the MSCA by watching the full info day.
