Under the theme \u201cBe a blue citizen: Embracing democracy for thriving oceans and rivers,\u201d this initiative encourages community engagement, sustainability, and active citizenship in aquatic ecosystem protection.<\/p>\n<p>Proposals must address the Challenge of the Year and show tangible local impact. Up to 5 projects will be funded, with a maximum EU4Ocean support of \u20ac20,000 per project.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligible applicants:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Members of the EU4Ocean Platform, Youth4Ocean Forum, and European Blue Schools Network<br \/>\n\u2022 Individuals or organizations interested may participate as project partners<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main selection criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Co-creation and collective learning<\/li>\n<li>Replicability and long-term sustainability<\/li>\n<li>Innovation in methods, tools, or target audiences<\/li>\n<li>Relevance and impact on ocean literacy<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Applications:<\/strong><br \/>\nApplications must be submitted in English, including both the technical and financial parts, by 18:00 (CET) on May 16, 2025, using the form available on the official EU4Ocean website.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Financial support:<\/strong><br \/>\nUp to \u20ac20,000 per project.
