The Award is intended to deliver tangible benefits to the global spill response community and contribute to scientific advancement in this field.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Eligible project types:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Short-term projects (1 to 2 years)<br \/>\n\u2022 PhD research projects<\/p>\n<p><strong>Main selection criteria:<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 Scientific and technical excellence of the proposal<br \/>\n\u2022 Relevance to oil and chemical spill response at sea<br \/>\n\u2022 Potential for practical application and positive environmental impact<br \/>\n\u2022 Capability of the research team to successfully deliver the project<\/p>\n<p><strong>Applications:<\/strong><br \/>\nApplications must be submitted through the online form available on the ITOPF website. Applicants are strongly encouraged to read the guidance notes before applying.
