<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":6,"featured_media":11000,"template":"","class_list":["post-11013","noticias","type-noticias","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\nA group of students and teachers from the Zealand Academy of Technology and Business in Denmark recently made a technical visit to the LIFE IP AZORES NATURA project, with a special interest in nature protection and restoration.<\/p>\n
The delegation showed great curiosity about the work carried out in the Azores, with particular attention to actions to combat invasive alien species.<\/p>\n
The visit was guided by the project manager and a park ranger from the S\u00e3o Miguel Environment and Climate Action Service, passing through various intervention areas where work has been carried out to control invasive species and reinforce them with native species.<\/p>\n
Along the way, visitors also had the opportunity to learn about some of the archipelago’s protected and endemic species, deepening their knowledge of the Azores’ valuable natural heritage and its conservation challenges.<\/p>\n
This initiative is part of Action E2 – Dissemination, Transfer and Replication of the project’s actions, reinforcing the importance of sharing experiences and international cooperation in preserving biodiversity.<\/p>\n
