As part of the LIFE IP AZORES NATURA project, through the Environment and Climate Action Service of the island of Pico, 161 specimens of Ammi seubertianum<\/em> were recently planted in the Ribeirinha area of the island of Pico, a species endemic to the Azores and protected by the Habitats Directive.<\/p>\n

This action is part of Action C3.2 \u2013 In-situ<\/em> conservation. It represents an essential contribution to improving the conservation status of the species, ensuring the viability of its population in this area.<\/p>\n

The plants were produced at the Faial Botanic Garden from seeds collected on the island of Pico.<\/p>\n
