Sement Event has as a double purpose the commemoration, in Mata Nacional do Bussaco, of the National Day of the Autochthonous Forest and the presentation and discussion of activities developed within the scope of nature and biodiversity preservation actions.<\/p>\n
This event is organized by the Mata do Bu\u00e7aco Foundation, F.P. (FMB), through the project LIFE BRIGHT \u2013 Bussaco’s Recovery of Invasions Generating Habitat Threats, and supported by the financial instrument LIFE+ – Nature and Biodiversity. In 2022, its central theme is the propagation of native species, the development and renaturalisation of degraded spaces and the control of invasive alien species.<\/p>\n
This year, the LIFE IP AZORES NATURA project, coordinated by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change, was invited to participate in this event, having presented its main progress, mainly concerning actions for the conservation of native flora and control of invasive alien species.<\/p>\n
The dissemination of the work carried out by the project, as well as the discussion of methodologies and sharing of knowledge in the area of nature and biodiversity conservation are two of the goals of LIFE IP AZORES NATURA through Action E3 \u201cNetworking with other LIFE and\/or non-LIFE Projects\u201d.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":4,"featured_media":7029,"template":"","class_list":["post-7032","noticias","type-noticias","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"\n
