The image shows the production infrastructure of the native plant nursery to carry out the conservation work of the LIFE IP AZORES NATURA project, on S\u00e3o Miguel (Action C5 \u2013 Implementation of integrated conservation work in priority <em>habitats<\/em> 9560, 9360 and 4050 for the conservation of the priority bird &#8211; <em>Pyrrhula murina<\/em>).<\/p>\n<p>In the captured image, we can see a 50m\u00b2 greenhouse, two tunnel-shaped shade greenhouses, 240m\u00b2 and 180m\u00b2 respectively, a composter with 18m<sup>3<\/sup> capacity, a homemade adaptation greenhouse, measuring 90m\u00b2, as well as a shelter house and a warehouse.<\/p>\n<p>All of these infrastructures have natural windbreaks (with native or exotic plants around each plot of the Farm) or windbreak nets, in order to reduce the intensity and speed of the wind. This way it is possible to protect all these infrastructures in extreme situations of storms or bad weather.<\/p>\n<p>Seeing this image captured by the drone, acquired as part of LIFE IP AZORES NATURA, coordinated by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change, is like seeing the nursery through the eyes of a Common Buzzard, right from above!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":6,"featured_media":8012,"template":"","class_list":["post-8015","noticias","type-noticias","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v27.3 -
