The LIFE IP AZORES NATURA and LIFE IP CLIMAZ projects, coordinated by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Action, continue to play an active role in the Nature Parks Advisory Boards.

Last November, the two projects participated in the Advisory Boards of the islands of Faial, Pico, São Jorge, Terceira, Santa Maria, São Miguel, Flores and Corvo, having also previously participated in the Advisory Board of the island of Graciosa.

These meetings are attended by various entities from different sectors, including environmental associations, local authorities, security forces, companies and representatives of public entities, constituting a fundamental space for dialogue, coordination and cooperation.

Throughout these sessions, LIFE projects regularly present the progress of ongoing actions, sharing results and challenges. These meetings often provide opportunities to identify joint solutions, thereby reinforcing the effectiveness of the project’s interventions across the islands.
