LIFE IP AZORES NATURA, a project coordinated by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Action, held a videoconference with LIFE Biodiv’Est. This integrated project aims to protect and restore habitats and species in the Grand Est region (France), strengthen public conservation policies, mobilise local actors, and improve knowledge about local biodiversity.
This session, part of Action E3 – “Networking with LIFE and non-LIFE projects,” provided a particularly relevant exchange of experiences between the two projects, covering topics such as the implementation of agroecological measures, compensation and farmer involvement mechanisms, ecological restoration methodologies, monitoring of the Priority Action Framework (PAF) for the Natura 2000 Network, and the development of educational tools.
