The Technical Conference: New Challenges in Public Lighting is part of the objectives of the LIFE Natura@night project, specifically within action E3, which focuses on training architects and civil engineers to mitigate the impacts of public lighting in the form of light pollution. This conference aims to raise awareness about the potential impacts of public lighting and present new techniques for better management and minimization of these effects.
The Technical Conference will take place at the Ponta Delgada Public Library and Regional Archive on May 14 and 15, with both in-person attendance and videoconference access available for participants from outside São Miguel Island.
Participation in the Technical Conference is free of charge, but spaces are limited.
