On Monday, applications opened for the fourth edition of the EU Organic Farming Awards, jointly organized by the European Committee of the Regions (CoR), the European Commission, the European Economic and Social Committee, COPA-COGECA, and IFOAM Organics Europe. These awards recognize various actors in the organic value chain who have developed outstanding, innovative, sustainable, and inspiring projects, creating a real impact and adding value to organic production and consumption in the European Union.
The EU Organic Farming Awards consist of six categories and seven prizes, including two special awards granted by the CoR: Best Organic Region or Bio-District and Best Organic City. Applications for these awards can be submitted until April 27, 2025, and the winners will be announced on European Organic Day, September 23, 2025.
