03/03/2026 The European Commission has launched a call for proposals to support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in creating sustainable tourism routes and developing associated tourism ecosystems. Applications are open until May 20, 2026.
This call aims to support the creation of thematic and/or geographical tourist itineraries and the development of the related tourism ecosystems. The itineraries are expected to be fully operational and self‑sustaining by the end of the co‑funding period. The selected proposal will be required to strengthen the competitiveness of the sector by increasing its resilience and capacity to face crises and unexpected challenges.
