Call for Applications – EU Gender Equality Champions Prize

Applications are open until 18 June for the EU Gender Equality Champions Prize.

The prize aims to recognise outstanding achievements resulting from the implementation of Gender Equality Plans (GEPs) carried out by universities, higher education institutions, and other research organisations (public or private) established in an EU Member State or in a third country associated with the Horizon Europe research funding programme.

The prizes are divided into the following categories:

• Sustainable Gender Equality Champions

• Newcomer Gender Equality Champions

• Inclusive Gender Equality Champions

The winner in each category will receive a trophy and a cash prize of €100,000.

The results will be officially announced during an award ceremony to be held in 2026.
