European Commission Launches Another Edition of the Young Energy Ambassadors Program

The application period is now open for the Young Energy Ambassadors program, promoted by the Directorate-General for Energy of the European Commission.

The European Commission invites all young people between the ages of 18 and 35 who are interested in advancing the energy transition in Europe to apply for this program. Selected candidates will join a group of young professionals for a one-year term, during which they will have the opportunity to participate in EU energy policy development, engage with experts, learn about energy-related topics, and share policy messages within their communities.

The Young Energy Ambassadors will also have the opportunity to actively participate in high-level discussion sessions organized as part of the European Sustainable Energy Week, which will take place from June 10 to 12. More information here.

Interested applicants should review the application criteria in the Young Energy Ambassadors guidelines – European Commission and complete the application form for EUSEW Interactive. Applications are open until March 1, 2025, and the results will be announced in April 2025.
