The European Commission has announced the launch of the call for proposals “Choose Europe for Science – Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions”, with an indicative budget of €22.5 million. This pilot program aims to attract talent from around the world and offer them long-term career prospects in Europe.
As part of the “Choose Europe: Advance Your Research Career in the EU” plan, with a total value of €500 million for 2025–2027, the initiative will allow eligible organizations to host postdoctoral researchers, providing them with up to five years of financial support. The Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions will fund the first two to three years, with the continuation ensured by the host institutions.
Created in 1996, the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions are the European Union’s flagship program for funding doctoral and postdoctoral training.
The application deadline for the program is December 3.
