The second call for proposals for BESTLIFE2030 was officially launched on 26 March 2025.
BESTLIFE2030 aims to support biodiversity conservation and the sustainable use of ecosystem services in the outermost regions and in the associated overseas countries and territories. The programme also seeks to prevent resource degradation and adapt to the challenges posed by climate change.
This initiative, funded under the LIFE programme for environment and climate action, will assist applicants in implementing impactful on-the-ground projects.
Grants under BESTLIFE2030 can reach a maximum amount of €100,000, with a co-financing rate of 95%. Public or private legal entities located in the outermost regions — including regional governments and administrations — or in overseas countries and territories may apply until 30 May 2025.
