Mar2030 – On-board Investments in Energy Efficiency, Safety and Selectivity, Investments in Productive and Organisational Innovation in Fishing Companies and Collective Actions – Autonomous Region of the Azores

Description: To promote increased competitiveness and viability of fishing companies through investments in fishing vessels, aimed at improving the hygiene, health, safety and working conditions of fishermen, promoting the valorization and quality of fishery products, fostering processes of digitalization of the activity and improving energy efficiency, mitigating the effects of climate change and reducing the impact of fishing on the marine environment.

Beneficiary entities: Associations, cooperatives and producers’ organizations in the sector; Public entities in the autonomous regional administration with powers and responsibilities in the administration of the fisheries sector; Other collective, public or private, non-profit organizations that work in areas relevant to the sector, namely for scientific purposes, environmental protection or vocational training, acting with the active support of fisheries professionals themselves or their associations; Local authorities, provided they act with the active support of fisheries professionals or their associations.
