The LIFE IP AZORES NATURA project, coordinated by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Action, took part in the Regional Information Session & Workshop of the LIFE Programme, held on June 17 at NONAGON – São Miguel Science and Technology Park, in Lagoa.
As part of the LIFE Capacity Building project (LIFE21-CAP-PT-LIFE CAP PT II) and actions C2.2 – External Capacity Building, E2 – Dissemination and E3 – Networking, an exhibition was presented on the LIFE: Nature and Biodiversity sub-programme, showing participants the types of projects and actions that this European programme can fund.
The initiatives currently underway in LIFE IP AZORES NATURA were also presented, illustrating in a practical way how it is possible to develop and implement nature and biodiversity conservation projects in the Azores with the support of the LIFE Programme.
