FOREST Joint Call 2026 : FOREST Pathways

First Transnational Call of the European Partnership FOREST: FORESTPathways, dedicated to advancing knowledge and solutions for climate-resilient forests and a sustainable forest sector.

With an indicative public budget of up to €40 million, the call brings together 36 funding organisations from 27 countries and supports research and innovation projects in four key areas:

• Climate-resilient forest systems;
• Adaptive and multifunctional forest management;
• Wood and innovative wood-based products;
• Forest sector value chains, markets, and governance.

The deadline for the submission of pre-proposals is 2 December 2026 at 13:00 CET.

The application process consists of two stages, with selected projects expected to start during the first half of 2028.
