The LIFE projects coordinated by the Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Action were present at the 16th Regional Environmental Education Meeting, with an exhibition stand to publicise their nature conservation objectives and climate change mitigation and adaptation actions.
This year, the meeting’s theme was “Memory of the Earth: A beacon in environmental education,” focusing on geodiversity as a pedagogical and awareness-raising tool.
The meeting, which was attended and participated in by the Regional Secretary for the Environment and Climate Action, Alonso Miguel, brought together teachers, environmental technicians, companies, NGOs, local authorities, students, researchers, and other professionals or citizens interested in deepening and sharing knowledge in the field of environmental education, an essential element for the sustainable development of communities.
