The LIFE IP AZORES NATURA project, in collaboration with the Sรฃo Miguel Environment and Climate Change Service, promoted last month an invasive species cleaning action on the talus of the Fajรฃ do Araรบjo on Vila do Nordeste.
This cleaning action followed an alert regarding the uncontrolled propagation of ๐๐ด๐ต๐ฆ๐ฐ๐ด๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ณ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ฎ ๐ง๐ณ๐ถ๐ต๐ช๐ค๐ฐ๐ด๐ถ๐ฎ, considered a high-risk alien species.
During the intervention, were also sown seeds of the endemic species ๐๐ป๐ฐ๐ณ๐ช๐ฏ๐ข ๐ท๐ช๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ช๐ช, ๐๐ฐ๐ญ๐ช๐ฅ๐ข๐จ๐ฐ ๐ข๐ป๐ฐ๐ณ๐ช๐ค๐ข, ๐๐ฆ๐ณ๐ช๐ค๐ข๐ญ๐ญ๐ช๐ด ๐ฎ๐ข๐ญ๐ท๐ช๐ง๐ฐ๐ญ๐ช๐ข and ๐๐ฆ๐ด๐ต๐ถ๐ค๐ข ๐ฑ๐ฆ๐ต๐ณ๐ข๐ฆ๐ข.
