Between June 15 and 16, took place the Eco-Encounters at the Elementary School António José Ávila, in which several projects and entities were present and several activities related to environmental issues were carried out.

The Regional Secretariat for the Environment and Climate Change, through LIFE IP AZORES NATURA, was also present, promoting 4 sessions of the game “Dobble Invasoras” with 5th and 6th grade children, involving about 70 students and teachers during the two days.

“Dobble Invasoras” is a fun card game, designed for primary and secondary school students, having been presented on Corvo Island by the President of the Regional Government of the Azores, which addresses the issues of exotic and invasive species, ways of propagation and respective control methods, in a fun and dynamic way.
